The Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator Intern will play an essential role in supporting the fundraising efforts at Dream Factory of Brooklyn. This position involves researching new opportunities, assisting in the development and execution of fundraising strategies, coordinating events, maintaining donor relationships, managing fundraising databases, and ensuring all activities align with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Researching Fundraising Opportunities: Assist in identifying potential fundraising opportunities, such as grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donors.

• Supporting Fundraising Strategies: Contribute to the creation and implementation of strategies that help meet financial goals. Assist in setting fundraising targets and supporting campaigns through creative materials and outreach.

• Soliciting Donations: Help solicit donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations through personalized outreach, including drafting letters, making calls, and sending emails.

• Maintaining Donor Relationships: Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with donors through regular updates on the organization's impact and activities.

• Managing Databases: Support the management of fundraising databases to ensure the accuracy of donor information and help generate reports on fundraising progress.
